Shining a light on my solo music from a few years back

Halite was my solo project when I left Therapy? in 2001. Warner Music offered me a deal and I stepped out from behind the drums to sing and play guitar.

Under the name Halite I recorded the album Head On in 2003 with various good friends guesting on it, then hit the road for some gigs which included opening for the likes of MudhoneySebadoh, Gomez, and My Morning Jacket. One of the live highlights from that era was playing Slane in 2003, the line-up for which included Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, PJ Harvey and Queens of the Stone Age.

My second solo album, Courses (released in 2004) was recorded with the help of Keith Farrell (bass), Derren Dempsey (guitar) and Binzer Brennan (drums).

Halite disbanded in 2005 due to other commitments but please check out all the music here on YouTube, including the audio tracks from the albums, and videos such as Underneath The World and In Time (below).
